Many people are looking for ways that they can earn extra money online and one popular way to do so is by marketing. marketing allows businesses and affiliates to work together for the profit of both parties. Some companies do not want to have to pay for advertising that may or may not be successful and they have turned to marketing for their advertising needs. Companies have affiliates that put up ads and links up on their own websites to help direct traffic to the company site. The affiliates are paid for their services when they send customers to the company site and a sale is made.
Affiliate marketing works as a relationship between the company and the marketer. The company saves money on advertising and the earns money when sales are made. There are a variety of tools that marketers can use to help direct traffic to a company. Some of the tools include colorful banners, advertisements and other links that appear on their website. Often the company will provide tools for their affiliates, while others have to design their own.
Different companies pay their affiliates in different ways. Some companies will give their affiliates a percentage of any sale that is a result of their marketing. Other companies have a flat fee that is paid whenever a sale is made. A few companies even pay for every time someone clicks on a link to their site, which is called pay-per-click marketing. The amounts you can be paid varies from company to company but often you can make between 10%-30% of the profit on a sale that is made.
