These and many other questions must be asked and answered to your satisfaction. After all, you’re the one who’s going to be promoting their product. By the way, do they provide tips, suggestions and tools to help you promote?
They must have an excellent tracking system. A system that tracks your referrals months down the road. People may not be prepared to buy initially. But if they come back later to purchase, you should be credited.
Look for companies whose program provides a good financial reward for efforts employed. Preferably a company with two tier commissions. This allows you to recruit others and retain a percentage of their sales.

The Home Based Business is not without its unscrupulous followers. Many will take your links and exchange them for their own. Or some will just bypass you and go directly to the company. Why? Your guess is as good as mine.
The best thing to do is to cloak or hide your link. This can be done by using a free service that shortens your dead-giveaway URL. Go to google, type in free url and a myriad of them will come up.
